Dr. Heike Kraemer, with expertise in Functional Diagnostics, Comprehensive Treatment Planning, Prosthodontics, and Orthodontics, is teaching a treatment approach which is based on preventive, minimal invasive, and functional dentistry within an interdisciplinary concept for functional-esthetic oral rehabilitations.
Through her clinical experience and scientific evidence, she developed to an authority in diagnosis and treatment planning emphasizing the importance of understanding the skeletal pattern and individual function of each patient, and its direct correlation to statics and the dynamic behavior of teeth, resulting in increased and long-term stable treatment success and overall health of patients.
Since 2006, she has lectured in Europe, Asia, and North America on Functional Occlusion, Joint-related Diagnostics, and since 2017 in Craniomandibular Orthodontics.

This course covers the Paradigm Shift to Modern Occlusion and the relevance of Function and TMJ in Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. Since dental treatment impacts surrounding teeth and structures, clear occlusion guidelines are here to ensure undisturbed function and stable treatment outcomes. The principles of functional occlusion provide the foundation...

This course exceeded my expectations. I've learned solutions and protocols to better treat occlusal level issues to provide long term results for my restorative patients. Additionally, I've seen orthodontic solutions for more conservative treatment and better results.
This is a great course to clarify occlusion confusion. The information is provided in a concise and logical manner, but without "dumbing" it down. It has completely changed my understanding of what's possible in dentistry. A MUST course for anybody looking to expand their practice beyond single tooth dentistry.
Knowledge base of lecturing assistants was excellent. Top drawer continuing education program in a superb participating setting.
Going back to basics and fundamentals. Dr. Heike Kraemer, you have changed our view of Dentistry in relation to human body. We wish we learnt this in dental schools. Every doctor should know the relationship between the human body. The best facility for dental CE courses at the highest level.
It is refreshing to be encouraged to step back and evaluate the patient. Learning the underlying etiology of their "dental" complaints allows for a more clear avenue to appropriate treatments and stable outcomes.
This is by far the best education, as well as philosophy on dental treatment and techniques that I have been to. I structure my yearly schedule in order to attend more courses.
I came to this course because I needed some CE hours and thought it sounded interesting. I will leave this course completely re-thinking how I practice. This knowledge is incredibly valuable. This should have been the first course I took out of school! I thought I was a good dentist and now I know I can be great! Thank you, Dr. Kraemer and Dr. Guyton.
This occlusion course has demystified a lot of occlusion concepts that almost every dentist barely understands. After this course, every dentist will have a clear starting point and will be able to implement an occlusion concept in treating every dental patient and help patients improve not only their oral health, but also their overall health and well-being.
The course content is amazing; it feels like enlightenment! It is a paradigm shift in ideology. And the quality of the teaching is second to none, such advanced content delivered with such humility.
The whole team are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. It is a wonderful environment to learn in. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!
I admire the way Dr. Kraemer delivers her knowledge to us. She is very structured, precise, and generous. She reads your mind and can see where you are in the learning process. The lab experience is very effective to learn and to adopt the process.
Dr. Sato teaches the occlusion and function oriented orthodontics in relation to the craniomandibular system. A very accurate diagnosis, based on condylograph, cephalometrics and all these information transferred to articulator mounted casts is included in this course. Once you step into it, I'm sure it will help you to set the standard of dental service we provide to the highest possible level!
You do not know what you do not know. And what you think you know about occlusion is probably wrong or insufficient. Heike's continuum made the above statements very clear. An invaluable course for everyone with a dental license.
Finally, I have the solution for my patients. No matter how hard your cases might be, Slavicek and Sato concept and technology will help you!
This is a must program for anyone that is serious about their diagnostic protocols that will influence their patients options and choices!
Thank you Heike and Bob Lamb for the wonderful course. I really appreciate all of the passion and effort you put into this course. Every day always has some amazing surprise in store. Dankeschoen.
This course is instrumental in applying the knowledge that I learned from the first Continuum. It ties.
If you want to understand occlusion, you HAVE to take this course. It has truly changed my practice and my life.
Thank you Bob and Heike for the course. This program is an excellent continuation of the diagnostic continuum. I enjoyed it greatly. Treatment planning will be a great benefit for my practice.
Best instructors for diving in deep and becoming a master head and shoulders above the rest.
There are rare moments in my life where I learned something so profound that it brings tears to my eyes. There was a moment where Dr. Velasquez so eloquently explained the inner working of the human skull and how it relates to occlusion, just connected many dots for me.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to learn from those who are so passionate about the art and science of dentistry and how it affects the whole person.
I am still at the beginning, but this course is exciting and promising. Nowhere I would learn how, why, and when to intervene in early childhood development to affect the overall growth and potential. Also, how to set up my cases pre-restoratively for stability with occlusion and function afterwards, and longevity of my patient's dentition.
I wish I attended the courses at IDEA earlier.
This program has been very eye opening. The material covered is something so important that it is shocking that we (as dentists) haven't been shown the importance of these concepts.
I am very eager to learn more, implement this in my practice and help my patients. The facility and staff are exceptional, and the speakers are excellent, friendly, and so knowledgeable.
This course teaches us 'trouble free' orthodontics. We can provide our patients not only good esthetics but most importantly, better quality of life by eliminating all these symptoms. Applying this concept in our practices sends the level of our service to the highest level.
I feel so fortunate to have three fantastic mentors in Professor Sato, Heike Kraemer, and Roberto Velasquez. They were instrumental in changing my patient experience and treatment results. Thank you for providing answers to 20 years of questions.
