José Carlos da Rosa, D.D.S., M.Sc., Ph.D. maintains a private practice specializing in prosthesis, periodontics, and surgical implantology in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
Dr. Rosa completed his Periodontics training at the São Paulo Association of Dental Surgeons – APCD – Bauru/SP, Brazil, in 1991. He furthered his expertise with Prosthodontics training at the Center for Dental Research São Leopoldo Mandic – CPO SLMandic – Campinas/SP, Brazil, in 2003.
Dr. Rosa is the author of the renowned book “Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration (IDR) – Immediately Loaded Implants in Compromised Sockets,” published by Quintessence Publishing in Portuguese, Spanish, English, and Mandarin. He has also published numerous scientific articles in international journals.
Dr. Rosa has been delivering lectures and courses both nationally and internationally on periodontal, prosthetic, and surgical implantology procedures. For the past 10 years, he has focused on teaching the Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration (IDR) technique.
