Yes. The course integrates modern rotary instruments, apex locators, and digital imaging to keep you updated on current practices.
Absolutely. The hands-on training includes practice on real extracted teeth from single rooted to multi rooted teeth. In addition, you will be taking a pre-op x-ray and post-op x-ray to ensure your endodontic treatment is accurate and precise.
For this endodontic course, you will earn 36 CE credits. IDEA is an AGD Pace and ADA-Cerp provider. For AGD, the code for earning credits is 070 – Endodontics.
All the necessary instruments and materials are supplied during the sessions, so you can focus fully on learning. All IDEA stations are equipped with a microscope. However, returning to your practice, you can apply the same skills using your magnification loupes.
The course emphasizes practical application, with 80% of the course work focusing on hands-on training. There is a main lecture the 1st day during the morning session, then every consecutive course day is hands-on with discussion of the x-rays of root canal treated teeth for instructor feedback.
